Schools in England are removing analog clocks from classrooms after complaints were made that students were struggling to read the correct time. Because the students are used to a digital representation of time on their phone, on their computer, they aren’t as good at reading the traditional clock face. The analog clocks in exam rooms were replaced with digital ones.
To see if the same thing is happening here, Jimmy Kimmel sent a crew out on the streets to ask kids if they know what time it is and the results were pretty similar.
Should students know how to read an analog clock?
