Massive Dog Wedding Event Will Try And Break The World Record
There’s going to be a mass dog wedding in Chicago on Saturday.
Organizers hope to bring in over 178 doggie couples for the ceremony. Leslie Allison-Seei, chair of the Villa Park Community Focus on Unifying Neighbors Commission, got the idea when she participated in one in 2008. It fell short.
There will actually be an officiant at the ceremony and if someone brings a single dog, there will be speed dating set up to pair the right pups. Stop it, that is so dang cute.
The record is 178 pooch pairs, set in 2007 in Littleton, Colorado.
What a fun idea, not only for the dogs, but definitely for dog loving people in the community to meet and bond.
