The lack of a courtesy flush may have been what led to a stabbing in a Boston subway station. Hector Avededo was arrested after allegedly stabbing an unnamed man in the hand because “he refused to flush a toilet.” Reports say Avededo entered the bathroom while the man was doing his business in a locked stall. Avededo supposedly suggested that he “needed to flush the toilet,” to which the man suggested he “mind his own business.” From there, words were apparently exchanged before things eventually got physical. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and we still don’t know if the toilet was ever flushed.
