A new study out of Washington University in St. Louis found that people are REALLY bad at figuring out which coworkers are secretly undermining them or stabbing them in the back.
Quote, "You tend to know who likes you. But for negative feelings, including competitiveness, people have no clue."
So how can you sniff them out? The researchers say the key is to watch out for coworkers who are on the same level as you and almost seem TOO polite to you.
Quote, "Pay more attention to what people do, rather than what they say."
